Power Quality Services
NESI ensures that electrical power supplied to industrial manufacturing and commercial refrigeration customers meets standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency to minimize, if not predict, downtime. A Major Cable Manufacturing facility in Luzon –Performance of harmonic study including installation
of filters
NESI rectified the facility’s perennial low power factor due to damaged capacitors that was a result of high electrical system harmonics found during a power quality audit. Filters and customized capacitors were designed and installed and the facility has since enjoyed a highpower factor and rebates from its electric utility, at a payback of 15 months from their investment.
A Cold Storage facility in Metro Manila –Power Quality Study and Lightning Protection
A power quality analysis was conducted in the facility to ensure the reliability of their system. After identifying power quality concerns, the facility then took corrective actions to secure stable and consistent power supply, thereby reducing the risk of equipment malfunction or failure.
A tire Manufacturer in Metro Manila – Infrared Thermography Scanning
Detailed scanning of their electrical system identified hotspots that were a high fire risk requiring immediate action. Recommendations of NESI immediately caught the attention of facility owners preventing hazardous events in the future.
Power Generation Services
In 2021, NESI started its engineering outsourcing program to address the essential outage periods for preventive maintenance. Each project spanned from Q4 through Q1 annually and were composed of a team of mechanical technicians, riggers, welders, and supervisors. The project has seen remarkable growth from an initial team of 5 engineers in the 2021-2022 outage period to 80 in the 2023-2024 outage period. This growth not only highlights NESI’s effectiveness in providing engineering resources during essential outage periods but also reflects an increased commitment to safety, efficiency, and reliability in operations.For Inquiries!
